Hot take: if it’s actually a stealth layoff then everyone else got the same speech as you and outing the firm won’t identify you.

We have a big project going on and I am the only point person(initiate it, did lot of work, and knows the deets well), seems like my mgr wants to get a headcount. Resume question I've had three positions over my career one of which lasted 3 months and that I got fired from, the job search took an additional 2 months. Is it worth it to leave the 3 month stint off my resume? It might be easier to explain getting fired then a 5-month gap I was thinking

Hey Guys. Regarding the forced layoffs in PS. It’s high time we unite and hit them back. I’ll request all people who’ll receive the video connect email from PS to do one important thing. Use a a pen camera or a hidden camera(small) in your pocket before attending the call and record the call and events. These peoples should not be spared. Try to get some evidence and let’s expose to public media and other legal teams. You can do this anonymously thereby saving others from this crap.

Constantly worried I’m going to get fired because I don’t know where I stand at my mid sized law firm (second year associate).

Does anyone have experience breaking up w a therapist? I've been seeing my therapist for 5+ years for eating disorder treatment and we've been through so much together, but I don't think she's able to help me anymore. While I've stopped my ED behaviors, they've evolved into OCD, and I'm finding that her methods might be making it worse. I think I want to try an OCD expert instead. Why do I work so much?

It’s because I have little family and few, if any, friends. Had a rough childhood. My way of making an impression on others has always been through work.

By working, I do something I’m good at and makes people appreciate me, while covering for my loneliness and feeling of inferiority. It’s sort of the only thing holding me afloat.

When I’m probably never going to have friends or a family of my own, becoming partner is the next best thing.
