Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?
What is comp like at a pension fund?

Try companies with large numbers of engineers and at least $100M in annual revenue. They tend to heavily subsidize the insurance plans. I think you are stuck with a high deductible plan almost no matter where you go now. They’ll offer full coverage plans, but those don’t tend to make economic sense any time I have compared.
My spouse works as a resident physician at a public hospital and his plan is amazing, $0 premiums for a full coverage family plan, free subscription to OneMedical, priority referrals to specialists, etc.
Hospital systems have more jobs than just direct patient care - communications, finance, researchers, etc. Their benefits are often quite good.

What does your spouse do? Mine works in healthcare (at a hospital) and has a better plan than through my firm (we have two kids). Also could try public sector. Government jobs tend to have great healthcare options, but your mileage may vary depending on federal, state, and the state in particular, e.g., I’m in CA and had great health insurance during my employment with the state.
Literally any Fortune 500 company will have better health insurance than big law…
Spouse is at a law firm, and I’m in-house (finance). My insurance is much cheaper with better coverage, so everyone is under my plan.
Teacher’s union. But any union will have great benefits.
Tricare. Great coverage for the whole family and it's all free for life bc my spouse is a disabled retired veteran. Can't say I recommend going through what he did to get that status though....
