Is it important to tell recruiters your end goal when first reaching out? For example, I’m interested in switching from litigation to transactional, but my eventual goal is to go in house. Is that important to mention or precarious? Would recruiters have insight into the best way to make that goal happen?

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!

Do you think all these violent and hate filled attacks are because people aren't getting the emotional/mental support they need, whether it's therapy at any age or help they needed but didn't get from a social worker as a child? What % of your gross income do you all put into savings?? I have my 401k at 6% (or whatever the min to match is) and then immediate put about 20% straight to savings. Young, but worried for future!

Estimated tax payment question:
I converted $30k of rollover 401k into a Roth IRA and have $26k of realized ST Capital Gains this year (Roth conversion in end of Q1 and most capital gains in Q2).
My total federal withholding tax last year was approximately $12k and this year I will have 40% more in reported income on my employer W2 and anticipate higher that $12k federal withholding for my new job. Given this, what is the best way to go about making est. tax payments for the income (continued.)
