Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?

Former Marine turned Armed Security. The highest pay for an armed officer is found in govt contract security. Through Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service, companies like Paragon Systems Inc. But I left there and went into hospital armed security. The pay for an officer was a little lower but the opportunities for advancement were better. After 5 years I've gone from a regular officer to a Cpl, then Sgt, and now Lt. And I make more as a Lt than I ever did in Federal Security.
Depends on the area and company.
A good transition is working in a SOC (security operations center) in a corporate environment. There’s usually a lot of room for advancement as operations manager, risk manager, security analysts, background investigations, etc and they typically start around $30 just as an operator.
I'm currently looking up TSA( Airport security $24.00 to start her in San Antonio,TX...FYI
Enlist for another 4 years! Ooh-rah!! You could become an NCO or there's always Blackwater if you wanna do overseas defense contracts, they pay pretty well.
You’re probably better off working as a law enforcement/correctional officer. Additional responsibilities, but also better pay (and, generally speaking, the public sector offers better benefits than the private sector).
