I'm a staff in a top 8 accounting firm making 80k in HCL area. I will be promoted to senior this fall, should I expect a 15-20k raise?

How did you tell your manager you’re pregnant? Did it affect pay/promos? And then, subsequently, how did you start letting colleagues know you’re pregnant? Feels awkward to just randomly drop the news in a meeting! I work remotely so it’s hard to tell by video :) I’m 21 weeks and feel like I’ve waited as long as I can to at least notify my manager. Hi! I’ve been approached by Securonix for a Sales Director role in NA. I know the field and their competitors. The pay is good but I’ve seen a handful of websites with employee rating that is really bad. Each site has roughly 10 reviews but most are negative. Mostly referring to toxic culture and zero work life balance. How true is this in this sales org and the company in general? This is a backfill role after a 3 year tenure for the person who left.

Looking for some advice on a couple of offers I have.

The first offer is for an Account Executive position at a smaller company with a base of $50k and another $20k in OTE.

The second offer is for a BDR position at a larger and faster growing company with a base of $60k and another $20k in OTE. Also some stock options but they aren’t public yet.

I have 2 YOE as a BDR and think I could succeed in either position. Both have hybrid work set ups. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated! Thanks.

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.
