I'm about to finish my CPA at a Big Four (HCOL) and want to make an exit from accounting into another industry (maybe advertising or marketing). I'm unsure how to make this jump, looking at job opportunities, everything requires several years experience unless I want to start from an entry level role. I don't mind taking a bit of a pay cut but I couldn't afford to start from scratch... I don't have any network in another industry, what is the best way to leverage my experience and CPA?

Fishes need suggestions. I have been put on PIP for bad performance. I am being a part of 6 months project and project is about to complete with backend work done. I took more time for some tasks because of not knowing the technology so they highlighted that and my senior send emails to HR to put me on PIP. What should I do ? Acknowledge PIP ? Or resign? Or let them terminate me so I can claim salary of three months as fnf settlement? Getting confused, please suggest.
