Hello, I was recently let go from my firm for not being able to pass the series 10 exam. I passed the 9 and have my SIE, 7, and 63. Are there any jobs out there that require the 9 but not the 10? All the jobs I can find require them both but I’d like to use my 9. Thanks for any advice!

Can anyone let me know how easy it is to apply to a consulting firm in Dubai directly coming from London? I am currently working at a T2 strategy firm in London and my partner and I want to relocate in ~1.5 years. My firm does not have an office in Dubai whilst my partners firm does. My employer is not considering employer's PF contribution in my fixed component and employer's PF in my case is 12% of Basic instead of minimum required. I feel that this is making my fixed component to be liable to a higher tax.

I feel that I would have got the same in hand even if my fixed is 2 lakhs lower and employer's PF is part of my fixed as even that portion will be excluded out of tax calc.

Is my thought process wrong? If not, how can I improve my in-hand reducing my tax?
