Your actual titles are meaningless if they don’t match your work.
I was hired as a project manager but it became clear they needed a product manager and program manager. It was company around 70 employees.
My title on my resume is “Product Manger / Project Manager”. I leave out the program management because I have no interest in this work.
Label your work clear with a job title that communicates.
I am assuming you are in the US. When someone calls a prior employer, they will be told “yes he worked here”. No one researched your past title.
I worked for a 3,000+ company who told their employees to decide what title they wanted to use. Your manager had to approve it. This was because the job titles were weird; product manager 1, product manager M2.
