I’m new to teaching AP Art History this coming semester, went through the 30 hours of College Board training but am still a little overwhelmed. How do you make this class manageable and enjoyable for the kids, families and myself?

I’m currently a third year in my small firm’s life sciences team. I’m not really stimulated by the work and although they say they have a lot of work, they’re not good at managing workload. I haven’t had much work on my plate even after asking many times for more than six months. I’m ready to move to a larger law firm. However, I am concerned how I’ll manage the workload as a mom to a toddler. The good thing about my firm is that they’re flexible with hours. Anyone have experience balancing?

Denver culture (and suburb areas): interested to know how easy is it to make friends here. Both husband and I are late-30s, early 40s with a kid going into middle school. I’ve got a great friend group where we live now, but looking for simpler and cheaper way of life but dreading not being able to make friends.

Lawyer Couples:
I’m currently an associate (no kids) in a very busy corp group (think 50-60 billable weekly). My wife works significantly less (currently part time, 10-15, but hopefully will be full time soon). I find myself getting upset when asked to help with basic household things (trash, cooking etc.) when she’s been lounging around watching Netflix all day. Am I being reasonable or am I a misogynist? How do you deal with one person having significantly more free time than the other?

My partner of 5 years ended our relationship last night. I’m shattered and feel absolutely sick, and I know the healing isn’t going to be easy. We were on the verge of an engagement and I was ready to spend the rest of my life with him.

During the pandemic I dove into my self care (found a therapist, learned I was having seizures and got on meds for that). My journey has been difficult and not pretty to watch. Somewhere along the line I feel like my fiancé saw too much. I no longer feel like romantic parters and instead feel like we have a “caretaker/patient” type relationship. I don’t feel sexy or attractive anymore. I talked to him about this and he feels bad. But I feel guilty for bringing it up. Anyone else had this issue?

I want to do an MBA in the next 2 years. I’m currently up for Senior consultant promotion but I don’t think I can make good money in consulting till I become Partner. My boyfriend isn’t supportive of this decision. He believes it will alter our plans (marriage, children etc). He also thinks immigration will be a big hassle since I’ve already used my 3 years of OPT. What should I do?

Do you share details about raises/bonuses/other financial gains with friends or do you keep it to yourself? I have a few friends who will tell me everything from how much money they make to how much their husband spent on them for their bdays to how much their parents make?? To me that feels like bragging/being arrogant. It’s also the way they say it, feels very much like seeking validation to me.

My husband does not show affection openly and is quite lazy in bed, and I thought I could deal with it because I love him, but it’s really really beginning to annoy me. I’m currently struggling with my friend group. I’m a transplant to my current city and ended up making friends with my coworkers (who were also transplants). Now I’m regretting this as I don’t feel like the friendship is deep and things seem competitive. I feel like I have no friends and my real friends (from HS and College) are in a different state and have their own lives. Any advice on dealing with having no real friends where you live?

I gained weight during my last relationship (probably around 30 lbs, and I’m 5’9”). Before my relationship, I felt like I could get any guy. Hi everyone I am relocating to Hyderabad next month. Even though I look forward to meeting new people I can’t seem to ignore the fact that I will move away from family.
