Check out SAPs early talent program. They have sales as well as consulting (with associate PM roles) usually they let you be remote but they have a houston office. Usually the training is onsite for x amount of weeks then you back back to your home office. But they could’ve change it to remote. It’s been years since I went through the program. Houston SAP office has lots of oil and gas customer focus
DM me. Happy to help as a veteran as well.
Just DM you.
Im not trying to be critical but,, Why does everyone think an MBA is the key to success. I used my electronics job i did in the military gained a research job in communications, i needed business experience and started a transportation company. Sold it, and i needed engine experience so i came to the oil field and drove truck til i was offered a mechanic job because i did all my repairs and during that time i did research into how to make nanomaterials now have a Nanotechnology company while I work my real job as a heavy engine mechanic to build it. I'm sorry but the MBA people I have Interviewed for managment positions were taught so little compared to actual experience of starting a company. Take any job that pays the bills and start a company around your most favorite subject. You are an officer, the most highly skilled manager the world has to offer. Run with it. I would have been much farther much faster if I had that experience. You got this.

If the veteran falls into the bucket you’ve described - then sure, go for it. Pursue your passion. Start a business. Have fun.
There’s a huge portion of us, however, who don’t know what we want to do after the military. For many, a full-time MBA program is a perfect transition tool. I would not have my current salary and job without the resources and network from attending a top-ranked business school.
Regardless - not one size fits all. An MBA program could be a horrible fit for some. As with anything, it just depends.

I don’t know how you feel about retail, but maybe apply at Walmart as a coach. Starting Salary I think is around $55k.
