I'm the top sales rep at my company - a F50 telco. Making inroads through the channel and with sub agents very well. I know telcos usually weather recessions very well, but how about the channel and sub agents selling through the channel? I feel pretty safe where I'm at, have some interest elsewhere, but want to also make a safe move and leaning toward staying and taking a promotion. Any thoughts?

I started QA at the company I am currently at 3 years ago. Long story short, within 4 months at the company, I was able to make a career change and step into a PM position. Without having the formal education or PM experience, only my 5 years in QA experience. When I started I made $65k and have jumped to $78k. I have seen other companies post $100k+. Annual review is tomorrow. Should I fight for more or look for more somewhere else if I lose that fight?

I've got 4 years at a staffing agency after getting Masters in HRM and making a complete career change in 2018. Doing full cycle recruiting and account management. I feel I'm doing very well (in the role and with comp $57 base + commission = ~$91k last year) BUT I feel stuck!! I'm feeling undervalued and unchallenged. So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Stub year in a free market firm frustrated about hours. Everyone was complaining about being slow last month, but it seems most passed 100 hours and I only got 60.
