I’m looking for some additional tips and/or specific things to focus on in preparation for the multi-round interview process for a role at Amazon Web Services in what I assume is for one of the cloud services team. From what I’ve gathered, is the interviews are largely based on the leadership principles. However, how do I know which would be asked? which would be more related to the role/or team I’d be on? What other types of questions to prepare for leading to the 1-on-1 with the hiring manager
From my experience, that would be considered as a mid-senior level. But associate level should be considered compared to it. Don't worry😊, may be some mid-sized or small companies don't have much hierarchical levels, and the transition years of experience don't matter much for them. You can still apply for associate level positions.
The main thing is if you consider yourself fit for the position, you actually should apply for it. I am myself 5 years of experience,& I am getting a senior position. So will definitely work out for you 😊 Good luck!
Thank you! This helps a lot!
Every company is different in how they level roles. At Amazon you’d be considered for a mid level role with 5 years of experience.
Yes, 5 years is absolutely mid-senior level. Entry level is just that. No experience and training will be required for the person taking that role on. I consider associate 1-2 years (maybe stretching to 3 if the person is still working to master certain skills).
I agree. It annoys me seeing those types of roles. Basically it tells me the company wants to have their cake and eat it too. Pay someone entry level wage, but not have to provide the level of training entry level requires.
