What do you mean taking more time from you?
As in instead of having child on the weekends, you would also have child during a portion of the week?
She wants to take some of the weekend time as well as the week she already has
I think it's fair that in the past because you traveled for work the deal was you would get weekends and now that here is no travel it could be up for negotiation.
If anything you should be getting more time which could be win win win. More free time for mom, more time with you for child, and more time with child for you. I'm hoping that's the case.
I don't it's fair if it ends up disproportionate for either side. You each have a say right? Are you able to provide a counter offer or discussion about it?
My co-parenting situation has gotten better since WFH. I am getting more time with my kids b/c my ex doesn't want them with her all week. Its tough with my work schedule. The weekdays with them go from 6am to 10pm nonstop but I love having more time with them. My ex is getting more weekends with them but I need those days for my sanity
I am with you. It's been better for me too. I am just worried about going back to travel and working out a good plan for us. I want my kid as much as possible but while traveling that translates to every weekend. She wants some of those weekends because they are the "fun time". I completely agree. I just don't know how to balance it though
