Is getting LEED certified worth it? Trying to break into project management roles in the built environment coming from a few years of management consulting and a non-engineering academic background

If your company and/or more importantly role has that as a requirement than yes. I've found its not important as I thought when I first entered the field and was trying to get certs to bolster my legitimacy, but maybe in your case it could help do that. Idk what level youre trying to break into, but would imagine understanding construction schedules/jargon/design would be more important. PE/RA are probably the best to get but require 8-10 years, then would imagine PMP/Agile/Scrum/whatever other PM method the companies you are looking at use

I found it to be usless but I still maintain my credential since I already paid for it. I'm trapped in a sunk cost falacy basically. I don't want it to be useful one day and I let it lapse.

I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead. I’m 5 yrs out of college. Any advice?
