I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. I don’t expect her to make every decision correct nor do we have to agree with all of them. I believe she should be correct around 75 percent of the time but I believe she is in the 50 percent range. Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction. Man I hate this part - waiting to see what his response will be after he researches and talks to his doctor. I’m on daily meds which help reduce transmission risk. You’d think that since HSV-2 affects 20% of Americans and likely a higher % of gay men, there would be less taboo but it’s hardly ever talked about. Anyone else in my shoes? Or had it disclosed to them?

I just got a really great offer, only downside is the eligibility for maternity leave is after 12 months of employment. I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.

I have worked in four different types of pharmacy and I don’t really like anything so far. I don’t know what to do anymore. Right now I don’t feel like I can do any of these jobs forever. The types I have worked in are:hospital (pediatrics ), retail, specialty and a call center.

What's the biggest health myth you've heard that you'd like to bust? Mine is that supplements are always a healthier option than prescription or OTC meds. A lot of the supplements on the shelf contain all types of unnatural ingredients and can still be harmful depending on the dosage.

I am leaving retail pharmacy after 15 years. I am opening a 403b pharmacy for a FQHC. I don't believe that retail pharmacy will be able to sustain itself with patient costs skyrocketing. I think people will become enraged or indifferent enough to allow the federal government to take over healthcare. How many times do we see people getting free prescriptions via government coverage that drive better cars than we do?
