Is there anywhere I can learn about how to invest through Fidelity? Been keeping my $$$ in a Marcus savings account but looking to move some and start building more of a portfolio! (I have a 401k outside of this)

Open a Ira or brokerage account and you can then invest in mutual funds, stocks or etfs.

Yes FZROX is the zero expense total market fund and fxiax is the s&p 500 index. I own FZROX in my Roth IRA and have fxiax in my 401k. I would not personally hold FZROX in a taxable brokerage account because it can only be held at fidelity. If for any reason wanted or had to move your funds, you can’t transfer it and would have to sell. If you had it a while you could have decent gains you would have to pay tax on. Fskax is the regular total market mutual fund. If you go with a total market, I would use that instead of FZROX. Do you have any preference of mutual fund instead of ETF?

Is it too late in our lives to jump into a mortgage?

So my fiancée and I are relatively late in terms of finally landing well paying jobs and being able to save money instead of living paycheck to paycheck. We’re both 36 and currently rent a 2 bedroom in NY and have a combined savings of $35,000 which she wants to use as a down payment on a condo. I kinda just wanna continue saving while renting. I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.

Hello Fishes,

I have joined hcl on 24 th sep 2021 and my last working day here is 18th May 2022.
Today I received my provisional full and final settlement and the payable amount is negative -11454. They are recovering the full AMPB amount which I got from September months.
I have heard from this platform only that hcl stopped the recovery police but still I got the negative fnf.

I am expecting an offer from Master Card for Senior Software Engineer position in O Fallon MO. Please let me know what kind of base salary I can expect with 11 yrs experience . I don’t wanna undersell but also trying to avoid being aggressive but quote a decent number which will be achievable. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Is 125k $ base a fair value for or I can pitch higher? They have a 15 to 20 % bonus on top of base pay and a 10% match on 401k which the recruiter keep highlighting.

Incoming MBA, I have my tuition paid for and rent covered (I will be an RA). So the only thing I need to pay for is food and entertainment. Do you think 20k is enough to last me through the 2 years? Hello, I’m an LMSW in Michigan. I have 15 years of experience in the field as a clinician, supervisor, and an administrator. I am feeling burnt out and unsure of my future. I have worked mainly in the Community Mental Health and the VA Health systems, hence my fatigue. I’ve flirted with private practice work in the past, but my spouse has been worried about not having affordable healthcare and benefits that each system provides. Is it worth the jump? Am I overthinking things?

Hey all, as I see a lot of recruiters in this group I wanted to know if anyone is hiring for BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER or E-COM ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT or VENDOR MANAGEMENT roles.

It would be really helpful if there is anyone is hiring for such roles or if you can refer to those roles in your organization. TIA :)
