When the partner asks why I missed his deadline

Netcracker Technology Corp. I recently gave interview for the Netcracker Technol.During the initial calls they confirmed my current salary and expected salary. Then they proceeded with the technical rounds and finally HR round was also cleared. They asked me to wait for the offer letter as they required approval from business. After a week when I got no updates on the offer letter i texted them asking about the same. They replied me on the text that the business did not gave approval for the offer. TBC in comment section..

Never done it, but there's gotta be a better likelihood of you getting more PTO than more money. Have you had your review yet? If not, that's the perfect time to bring it up IMO.

It’s coming up in the next couple of weeks, so I’m trying to think of what I want to ask for in advance!

I don’t think that’s unreasonable at all, especially if pay truly isn’t flexible. PTO is often easier for companies to adjust than base salary. I’d frame it around longevity and performance, like you’re looking for a benefits adjustment that reflects your tenure. Worst they can say is no, but it’s a pretty fair ask after three years.
First I would highly, highly, highly recommend talking to your coworkers about pay. Chances are it goes up for new analysts but not existing ones. Assuming you have done well at the company they’ll probably match.
If you want more PTO I would ask for it and try to use any justification (new parent, etc) and be willing to compromise (wfh days)
How does your current pay compare to the market value for your experience in your area? Even though your pay has been stagnant, salaries in general haven't gone up a lot recently, so you won't have much negotiating power if your current salary is still in line with what others get. Either way though, never hurts to try.
