I’ve been stuck on an excel issue and I can’t seem to get it sorted out, tried YouTube, google, etc. I’m trying to run a PV calc on excel but I keep getting a different answer than my financial calculator. I = 4.75%, FV= 0, PMT= - 2501.13, N= 650 calc gives me PV of 955k, excel gives 951k - I cannot seem to get this to match, any suggestions?

Begin vs end mode is my best guess outside of knowing the question, reviewing your calcs & reviewing your keystrokes

Wait, what?
I = 4.75% yearly?
N = 650 years? Or is it monthly and you converted to per month basis?

In any case, I can't replicate any of your results (in both excel and a fin calc). Can you be more detailed on your inputs?

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. I have 17,000 vested stock options, total number of shares at the time of my contract was 4million. I’m a bit confused about share dilution and if it’s worth it for me to buy some of my stock options… thanks in adv!

Was able to do so in London, Hong Kong, and India. However, Robinhood here doesn’t seem to allow it.

What’s the symbol that you can type in a cell so you can input a text, but that text would not appear in the spreadsheet? I want to describe the formula without using a text box, which uses more space.

The equivalent of this is in SQL, you can use the apostrophe in the beginning of and end of a text. That text will not affect the function of the query, but that text can be seen if you proofread the query.

Is it possible to do this with two sets of drop downs (days of week + time slots) and not use index match here? She could make 5 tables for each day of the week, but prefers one table that can be easily navigated by doctors.
