I’ve just been informed by someone that has recently left my workplace that they have been offered my job as I am being “pulled into the office next week and a position will be available” I’ve been on my annual leave for the past 2 weeks on family holiday abroad, when I left my numbers were fine. Although my whole team had been pulled up on performance I was reminded that I am on a warning. Surely that can’t offer my job before I’ve been informed of anything at all and not even been there.

Got an offer for SE III at a large tech company. Product I'd be working on interests me and I think I could grow more than in my current role.

Currently I make 180k base and have ISO/RSUs @ startup (60k/yr worth on paper, but won't be worth anything for a few years, if at all).

The offer is:
Base: $166,500
Target Bonus: 10% ($16,650)
RSU: 120k total (30k/yr)

Thoughts on offer? Should I counter?

Additionally there's a yearly target RSU bonus about equal to the cash bonus. Thoughts? 4.5 YOE

What “lifestyle” exit opportunities pay decently? Been interviewing for corporate development and strategic finance roles but total comp looks to be almost a 50% pay cut.

I have been approached by 3 separate HR people at a startup company to interview for a position. I already have a fulltime job that pays well and I only started 6 months ago too. Anyways, the pay was intriguing and the job was a high level scientific advisor so I did interviews. At the last interview, at the end I was told the job was for management but I prepared for a different kind of interview. I am waiting for an offer or rejection letter. I feel peeved that they wasted my time. Red flags?

On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact).
