Iqvia has more expertise in healthcare and has a very good brand name also.. stick to iqvia
IQVIA is a great company but the consulting group is another story. Because it’s just a small part of the bigger company, focus on consulting is not always what it needs to be. KPMG advisory on the other hand would be more “consulting like” since that’s their sole focus. Also salaries at IQVIA consulting are pretty deplorable and turnover is high.
KPMG has a better brand recognition. IQVIA may have more expertise. If prestige and exit opportunities are important than content and industry expertise then KPMG.
Definitely consider culture. IQVIA is like 20 different companies operating in silos. Noncompetes are pretty stringent if you want to move to another consulting company. There are many levels to climb through. Often their tittles make it seem like you are getting a bump but that is not reflected in salaries.
Some of these are valid those. I agree with those siloes but I guess that changes in the future
Salary bump is good, I always notice a 15 perc increment in the salary after title change, but may not be comparable to other consulting firms I guess
