We tried sleepsense.net after getting tons of ads about it on facebook. Honestly for us the biggest thing was finally letting our little one cry it out which I know sounds horrible. The sleepsense method does provide some alternative versions but at the end of the day, those weren’t effective for us.
The other piece of advice we should have followed (but didn’t) was to start sleep training early (once the baby doesn’t need to eat overnight) because it gets harder once they can stand up in crib
Depends on the age of the kiddo. My wife and I are both in pediatrics - we like takingcarababies and some of Dr. Karp’s stuff (Happiest Baby on the Block), the book Babywise is pretty good too. We have an 8 week old doing 8 hour stretches thanks to those resources (not every night but at least 6 or 7)
Different side of the spectrum from the Karp philosophy is Ferber. I can’t tell you what you should value, it Ferber approach was gold in my experience. My daughter sleeps 12 hours a nice and has since we invested in the approach for a week 2 years ago.
Any tips/resources for older kids? Toddlers and young children?
