No really. You should contact independence with fuzzy questions like this that aren't clear cut.
Call 1800 deloitte and ask
So insightful. Thanks?
Jk I lied. It's 0.25% if >10k invested and 0.15% if >100k. And its annual not monthly.
Let your FB fam know!
Put in 10k into my betterment account to start it up. 0.35% monthly fee I believe, which is very low. Variation of funds to choose from is pretty good and I set it to automatically take a certain amount from my bank account every month. Have yet to see the full results but given how this is for a long term, it could be a while.
0.35% a MONTH?! Holy shit!
My understanding of holding indexes (which is what you should be doing on betterment) is that the fine print of "independence" means you can hold an equity explicitly. As long as you aren't being specific, there's no foul play.
You can hold an index, but you can't own funds from certain companies regardless of what they hold. Not sure if it is the same at other firms.
