My line manager refused my annual leave to take care of my sick father. I have kept him in the loop regarding the treatments my father is going through just incase I need to take some time off which I would use my annual leave for and prep my teams ahead of time so everything within the business is covered and running smoothly before I take the time required away from the business. I’m really struggling to find a reasonable solution to this. Would it be advisable to speak to HR about this

Hello all, I'm a very green attorney, never tried a single case or even was second or third chair, but managed to land a litigation associate position at a Plaintiff's firm.
