My manager gets very nit-picky when it comes to feedback and I don't want to pull the race card but....I can't help but feel like she's doing the most cause she doesn't trust me as a writer. The other writers don't get nearly as much feedback as I do and you guessed, I'm the only POC on the team.

My boss in my creative agency threatened to fire me because I, a male, came into work with my nails painted. Has anyone been through a job search with a Bar issue hanging over them? I’m being terminated at year’s end and the Bar still has not resolved discipline over a misdemeanor offense from which I just got completed diversion and expungement. Isn’t this just a total disqualifier for new work until I have a resolution?

I'm currently on £60k at a start up. Just got offered a job at a games company with a salary of £50k + 15% bonus 😖 I immediately spoke to them and told them that is way below my current salary and they raised to £56k + 15% bonus which would put me on £64.4k total comp. I've said I'll think about it and hope they raise the offer again.
Should I not consider this at all if they don't at least match my base? I have been aiming for £70k-£80k when looking at new jobs
