New Game. Guess the salary based on the job posting.

Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Is it a good idea to still switch with the counter offer from Cg Capgemini Tata Consu

Thinking about accepting a software engineering offer for BCG Digital Ventures . can anyone working there tell me about the work culture, learning opportunities, and exit opps . Im also interviewing with Zillow and am deciding wether to wait or take an offer. I’m really intrigued by the idea of building ventures and learning alot on the technical and entrepreneurial sides, but the opportunity to work for a tech unicorn is also very intriguing

“Military vet and small details” are funny to me as a vet.
Short story time. Once during a field drill I found an ACOG (optic) in the field while setting up a patrol base. It had definitely been there for a little bit but I told my team lead, and my platoon sgt. Both didn’t want to deal with the paperwork/having it be an ordeal and said to either chuck it or keep it and say nothing. Meanwhile there’s likely some private being absolutely dressed down for losing it.
Being mil =\= detail oriented. Sincerely a former sham shield 🫡
G1 looking to sell the Acog? I'm too poor to afford a new one

Speaking of attention to detail, a PMP requires several years’ worth of project management experience, but this role is listed as “entry-level” and only pays $50k. Sounds about right

The job market is truly F’ed.
Wildly unqualified people apply for entry level jobs. I once worked in a bank compliance department and we decided to hire an intern, we got approval from HR on the basis we do everything. HR said all they would do is “monitor” the process, but wouldn’t handle it for us like they do FTE roles.
We had dozens of high school drop out fast food employees who couldn’t even spell correctly (spellcheck?!?) sending in resumes that were ~1/4 of a page. The listing explicitly said college students only.
This is way more of an edgy take on the theme song to Full House... "What ever happened to predictability..."
