Thoughts on Chicago Portfolio School?

I heard they don’t do a good job of setting you up with a career after the program.

New grad students have started asking about my experience in the program. Should I be honest and tell them how horrible it was? Or avoid the question and let them form their own opinion?

Hello! It seems this bowl is not very active but I'd like it to be. So here's my story: Born & raised in PR, moved to CA for undergrad & have been here since then. I graduated from law school in 2019, followed by a 2 yr bk clerkship. I did the evening program. I really enjoyed law school, in spite of the microaggressions, the late nights, & crazy competition. Love all things diversity in the law. Anyway, currently looking for a position in NYC/DC area. 🤗

Seeking advice for Kellogg’s Deferred MBA. I took my GMAT and scored 640 which is well below the 720 average. What’s the best option for next-steps? I don’t have time to retake the GMAT and spent considerable time studying TTP. GPA 3.9+, MSc from Northwestern, incoming T2 Consultant.

1. Apply with the score I have.
2. Don’t apply early. Wait for a stronger score before applying regular cycle in the future.
3. Take GRE and compare scores. My verbal is much stronger than my quant.

Is it even possible to get HSW with a low GPA (3.3-3.5 range) if you’re an ORM guy? Even if you went to top 20 undergrad, top GMAT (780-800), good work experience (top consulting firms+FAANG)?

Wharton vs Booth($$)?
In consulting and not aiming for a career pivot. Goal of B-school is purely academic, networking and having a second degree on resume without too much focus on recruiting. Want to have a good overall experience. Feel a better culture fit with Booth but also understand Wharton has a better brand. Thoughts?

GMAT study motivation is seriously lacking 😩

I paid the the credit evaluation that NASBA offers in GA and I meet the requirements to sit for the exams. I’m not sure if when I apply I should pay for all 4 exams at once since the NTS only last 6 months. Plan on to start studying for FAR mid-January. Also don’t know when to order my books. Any advice?
