Pre-covid expectations with post covid workforce. Y’all outgrew the practice. We keep hearing how technology and AI will make working better but the workforce keeps shrinking and y’all keep outsourcing instead of replacing the US ETs. It’s turning into just pure mindless volume and the added value that once was provided has significantly diminished. As now a client, reviewing work directly from the offshore teams when we pay you for your review and analysis should not be happening, period. We can easily tell when it’s not reviewed, we are not stupid. Treat your US staff how they deserve to be treated or your experienced work force will keep quitting and you will not have anyone to transfer the knowledge to your new hires.

Pre or post COVID, people should be treated with respect. I do think we have lost a lot in relationship building and apprenticeship since COVID and that is hard on everyone. We work in a stressful business with ever increasing client demands and the best advice I can give is to put your followership where it is deserved and shape your leadership to be the future that you want to see.
