7.5% TC regardless of contribution. Vests immediately, % increases as you gain tenure but still subject to IRS limits
Loving the Deloitte bashing by....D folks! 🤣😂
401k is for commoners, not for MDs and Partners
Rising Star
I wouldn’t say I don’t care as I would never turn down free money.
50% of first 4%
Pro
15% auto contribution up to $25k/year
25% no match required
50% match up to 6%. Deposits at the end of the year, but is fully vested when deposited.
5%, 1:1, 100% vest after 1 year of employment.
2% 😭
Beyond 401k, I’ve always been jealous of Accenture’s 15% off ESPP. Ours is only a 5% discount (of the price at quarterly purchase, not a low price)
4% automatic plus .5% on employee contributions up to 6% (total of 7%). 3 year vest. Thought it was pretty decent til I saw BCG
TCS: 100% of first 3% and 50% of the next 2% for a total of 4%.
All of it vests immediately but I think you need to stay for 1 year to keep the extra 1% match or they claw it back if I remember correctly.
No it is yours w no claw back
3% matching on 6%. They drop everything in once a year(May) and vesting is 20% until you hit 5 years. If you leave before December you get nothing.
10% match with a 5 year vesting period. Partial pension after 5 years as well. Can’t complain here.
With the 10% match, I presume you're at FDIC or one of the other financial regulators?
Deloitte is the best
Here’s a question for the informed people in the room: From the employer’s perspective, are employer 401k contributions equivalent to standard employee compensation from a taxation / deduction perspective?
In other words, given a fixed amount of total comp for a given employee, are there any advantages *to the employer* in pushing more of that comp via standard payroll vs 401k contribution?
Good question Slalom. I'm unaware of the tax implications of the difference, but at the very least, a lower base and higher 401k comp would likely mean lower bonuses paid. And ultimately lower 401k contributions as those are also tied to base rate.
