Is anyone else paralyzed with fear over long Covid? I’m young and healthy and vaccinated, and I know I can’t stay home forever (in fact we had resumed normal life until the omicron surge, and now we stay home a bit more), but every time I see something about long Covid I just get paralyzed with fear and never want to leave my house again.

Just arrived to Sydney from Chicago with my wife and 2 sons both under 2. Escorted to hotel quarantine and spending these 2 weeks trying to figure out if I would/could/should make the move to Sydney permanent. Wife and kids are Australian citizens. Made a list of pros and cons- cons column is empty - the only concern is work. How are you folks doing with COVID economy? Are there significant downsizing? How’s the projected technology consulting pipelines down here?

So I just had 2 tables fight in a restaurant. Table A coughed and table B said oh covid and laughed. Happens that table A is Asian and table B is white.
Table A assumed the joke is because they are Asian and table B says no, everyone got covid not just Asians it’s just a bad joke; who is right?
Table A escalated to a fight and had to be both separated and asked to leave. Who is right?

I keep getting surprised each month by our firm financial reports indicating we are relatively on track with our pre-Covid budget, while also watching our overall billable hour numbers for the year continue to go down. So, it is really 2021, when our 2020 backlog AR won’t be rolling in, that I should really be planning to hunker down for?? Seems a bit like the disconnected stock market to economy.
