Need some advice here. I am a fullstack developer with 5 yoe in Angular and Python. My aim is to crack FAANG companies. Now I got an offer from HSBC in a credit risk model monitoring role using Python. It is close to a data engineer role.
My question is that will it be a good idea to shift from development role to a model monitoring role if I want to move to FAANG in the future?Or does FAANG not prefer people who are not in core development roles?Amazon Microsoft Google Adobe PwC EY Citi Barclays JPMorgan Chase
I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

I’m at a national firm but I’d give Foley a hard look if that’s what you’re aiming for. Good folks over there at least on the corporate team.
Winstead maybe? Jackson Walker. Also some midmarket firms like Husch Blackwell and Polsinelli.
JW and Winstead are probably your best bets. You can also look at some of the small(er) firms like Munsch Hardt, carrington coleman, etc
Does anyone have insight Into work life balance/hours/pay at any of the above firms? Much appreciated!
Winstead has 3 hour requirements: 1600, 1800, 2000. I was offered $200k base for 1800 hours.
AA2 did you ever learn the base for 4/5th years?
