Serious question - the president of our office magically disappeared last week. No two weeks notice, no eloquent goodbye emails, not even an official announcement. That means she was fired but they can’t say, right? Honestly asking because it all seems so mysterious.

One of my senior managers is a boomerang and told me she was laid off when she was 7 months pregnant about 10 years ago. I think she was a senior or manager. She was in a specific group and everybody was laid off. It wasn’t performance based.

The week of my wedding, my husband (PL SQL Developer 4 yoe) was laid off. That was a couple of weeks ago.
