Should I switch departments for better pay? I truly enjoy working where I work at but the pay is kinda low compared to the county over (over 2 more dollars to be exact) and they will be willing to work with me and get me day shift too… I’m at a loss. I’m very loyal to my current county, they’ve helped me out so much and are very understanding with everything, I know money isn’t everything but as a single dad, the money will definitely help out.

But, as of the last couple years..it’s just more about stability, keeping working relationships happy, building finances, i.e. it’s just a job. Not about pushing for the most fun creative ideas—I still do that—I just don’t care enough to fight as much if they don’t get it. Definitely still feel genuinely defeated when truly awesome concepts get glossed over by a client who has no clue what they want.
