Everyone’s body is different. My limit is about 30g of carbs before I come out of keto. It really depends on the composition of your body and how long you’ve been adapted
^ EY is correct. If you’re in heavy keto going over on your carbs by such a minuscule amount you won’t get knocked out ... for instance if I cheat, next day I’m still in ketosis based on my blood readings and GKI.
Just up your fats for the day to maintain the right macro %s
Probably not, depends on your overall macros though. If you do bump carbs on accident just eat more fat that same day, should be fine depending on how high your ketone levels are
But theoretically is that how it works? Once you cross your carb threshold, that day you don’t enter keto and all the fat you eat won’t burn
OP- it really isn’t an exact science as it vetoed by person/body. If you stay consistent for a period of time and have 1 day every so often you should be fine. If you do get out of keto you’ll be back much quicker
Also even if you aren’t in full adapted keto you’re probably still in such a large carb deficient that you’re gonna burn fat. Just not as efficiently. It’s not a binary
Stay as carb-limited as possible. It’s a slippery slope once you tell yourself you’re probably out of keto and might as well eat everything.
Second EY2. It is a slippery slope. Once I was out of ketosis I just went crazy with carbs that day then regretted for a week
Got it folks, thanks
