I am working in Capgemini past 2.5 yrs in Power Bi domain and total i have 5 yrs of exp in IT industry. But my salary is same as my experience 5 LPA. I know i am getting underpaid. If anyone can refer me help me out ...i can give him my first salary... I am at a high debt.

Why do firms fire people with low but still profitable hours? I am in my first full year on track for pretty low hours (~1500) but the actual realized fees (after writedowns) are still double my yearly salary. Is it because firms know they could replace someone like me with an equivalent attorney who would bill more?

I’ve been made an offer for south of 800 hours/year (fluctuating for seasonal ebb and flow, of course), and I’m curious whether it’s a decent offer or not. I have 13 years of experience in a big box franchise where I’ve handled complex returns from day 1. 30% of my workload has been 1120/1120S/1065 and the rest higher-level 1040s and a few 1041s & 990s. Hey folks. Question for the majority of us still under the big 3 holding co’s...are raises a thing anymore? I’ve been at my (smaller) agency almost 5yrs and got one raise (a nice $12k bump) during that time—is that sufficient? Is one increase in that span normal? I also recognize being somewhere 5 years is rare these days. The honeymoon period at any agency seems to be 2.5—3yrs before bolting. Not complaining, just asking.
