I am way more selective of who I choose to spend time with. I have a lot of toxic people in my family and ever since I decided I don't need to make time for them JUST because they are family, my stress has decreased significantly. I have more time for myself and no longer have to deal with their drama. It was a hard boundary to keep at first, but it was worth it.

Turning off the alerts on my phone after 7:30 pm
Not checking my work phone on the weekends or when I am off in the evenings. I had to set a hard boundary because always being available was really taking a toll on my mental health. I am so glad that I did because it has made a huge difference for me.
I take a mental health day every few months and try to have a better work life balance. With working from home many struggle more than when in the office. When I'm done & log off for day I always shut office door. I make a mental note to myself when shutting door that Im leaving all work behind that door until I go back to work in morning. Of course things come up and have to log on later sometimes but unless it's a deadline issue or emergency I try not to and I also don't check emails after logging off.
This might sound simple, but get up and stretch! I find I can get stuck in the zone working on my computer and I can tell when I need to take a break for some fresh air or even just getting some movement in by doing something that requires getting up and walking around for a few minutes. The more we get stuck, the more we overthink and stagnate in uncomfortable thoughts and feelings.
