Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

Don't be. Enjoy some time off, and get back in the game in Jan. Unless you need a job and a paycheck
Obviously you're paying her for something
3 months exactly from the day I found out I’d be getting laid off to the day I got a call from the recruiter at my current company to let me know they wanted to give me an offer. It’s not easy for sure and I had to grind and hustle like to get to this point but trust me, this is the best thing that has happened to you career-wise! You’re going to get a better understanding of what you want to do and kill it when you start applying for jobs since you also have all that extra time to prep for interviews unlike your competitors :) Just make sure you do important things first like filing for unemployment, getting healthcare, making a budget for yourself and a job application game plan!
Don't worry about things which aren't in your control. Prepare the best cv as you can, give you best in interviews and everything else will work out.
On a side note - is KPMG still in lay off mode?
I imagine the lay off lever will never go away until the business picks up again
Are you on visa ?
Also if you’re on visa you have a limited number of days you’re allowed to be unemployed so completely changes the dynamic of how fast you NEED to get a job
I haven’t been laid off but I may be able to help you in your search. DM me if you want to connect.
Trying to sell, eh? Smart. Lol
Honestly, it’s been tough. I got laid off during COVID too. No luck yet...
