Thoughts on Stinson for tax credit/corporate finance? Comp, culture, billable requirement, etc.?

1850 default hours target for associates. Comp starts at like 170 or 180k for first years (probably on NALP—not trying to be coy, has just changed a couple times so not sure). Lockstep-ish from there but annual bumps are probably in the 5 to 10k range. Bonus highly variable, current comp system fairly new but historically ranged from nominal bonuses to ~50k depending on group, office, performance, etc. Some outliers higher than that but rare (as in maybe some every year but like 2 or 4 annually, not 20—but that's just my impression, extracted from limited datapoints). I'm not in either of those groups so would defer to others on the culture.

Working on a deal where buyer's side keeps on insisting on a POA to effectuate all actions of Seller under the agreement, including executing documents. Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? The gap will never be closed to the top pay scale at my firm but when I decided to come to this firm the pay difference was about 15 percent and not 30. Would appreciate any thoughts on how to go about bringing this up without pissing people off because I love the firm and do not want to leave
