Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

What markets do you know?
Zillow FSBO: it’s harder to find, you gotta hunt for it.
Such a bad time to buy. I would put that money in a HYSA, wait one year, keep saving and put a bigger downpayment for a much cheaper property.

Do you have a market in mind? Like others have said, the Midwest markets tend to be more affordable. You’ll really need to dig deep to find a deal in this environment.
What kind of property are you looking for? With only $65k, without investors, you’re probably looking at Class B/C multifamily of about 6 units in very limited markets. Though prices in certain markets have dropped, the problem is that interest rates have risen, but at least the pandemic is over so you do have value add options, but I’d look at places in warmer climates with more landlord friendly regulations. One huge issue in this space is heating costs during when winter unless your building is retrofitted with electric heat.
