I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. I just accepted an offer in writing. The new job will start the background check next which I’ve been told it may take a while to complete. My start date at the new job isn’t until 2023 so there is some time for me to turn in my notice. I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. For example: I meal prep so I know calories and macros of all my meals without having to count each time M-F (unless going out with friends/SO) and I run first thing in the morning the same 4 days every week. I had a hectic last three months working up to 16 hours a day due to my project. During this time I took advantage of convenient food which isn’t always the best. Now that things have died down I am having trouble switching from the less convenient food, snaking more than I should and not being as active as I was during the three months previously.
