Any hot leads on Workers Compensation roles?
Hi all, I am working at Natwest Group RBS and I have recently applied for Product Manager Role(gurgaon) in Gartner. How much CTC I should ask and what is the general hike and bonus they give on yearly basis and can someone provide some insights on work life balance and leave policy?

Well we're all still the worker bees, McCann. I'd guess the better question would be to ask our respective agencies and C-suite how much money they gave to charities and if they gave up their holiday bonuses. Assuming most would have to answer 1) not much if anything 2) hell no. Perspectives like yours only help corporations and the most elite, while keeping ordinary people down. Yes, we're lucky to have jobs. Doesn't mean we all can't strive for more or, gasp, hope to be rewarded and recognized for going above and beyond.
I don't know McCann 1 - I actually did work in social services for underserved populations for years before transitioning to this industry. So probably actually worked to make a difference in the lives of others rather than just sounding like a self-righteous blowhard about it.
A holiday party that everyone was to burnt out to attend.

A holiday party scheduled for January 12th
I received no holiday bonus this year. I had a great interview at a new place right before break.
Also, Media Strategist 1 seems like they’d be a hoot at a party
Havas 1 - done beating my head against a wall with you and Media Strategist, although I will say you did a good job getting everything about me wrong (white privileges patriarchy ? Try minority female definitely not from a life of privilege but ok).
Anyway, I'll add to the list - no bonus unless you count the bonus information that no one will be getting a raise or promotion not only retroactively but also not for the foreseeable future.
I got well wishes..so.....
Gift card
Christmas dinner
Nothing of course
An email
A new shitty time off policy
Nothing bonus, if paid are done at the end of the fiscal year

You kept your job right? Quit whining and go get your own bonus.

Director 1, I think the point is that the OP question and overall feeling from the answers it's that apparently people simply expect to be given extra, like they're entitled to it by default. It's certainly alright to strive for more and to want to be rewarded fairly in and of itself, but who deserves what is subjective and there are plenty of people who absolutely do not go above and beyond, while others do. So the sense of entitlement def comes across as arrogant in an industry that's not a vital sector and already indulges in all sorts of perks like free office booze, pool tables, late office arrivals and general shenanigans 😊 I spent last Wed prepping food and delivering door to door to elderly people living alone in the projects with Meals on Wheels. My conclusion was that unless you're homeless, terminally ill, or disabled, you should stop complaining. If you're healthy and got two legs and arms, there is always a way out no matter how hard or long.
Tl;dr - instead of looking for what you don't have or want more of, practice gratitude for the many things you already have
People in this industry really do cry too much. We're making good money and we live pretty good lives. Sure, leadership is living better lives but they somehow got themselves into that position. Life isn't fair. Play the game better and maybe you'll be a fat cat someday
