I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

In utilities, people being home all day means they are using more energy, so my clients will be making more money.
Unfortunately layoffs will be inevitable, it’s the logical conclusion you come to when you play out the far reaching impact. Just have your home and finances in order and you’ll be fine. Sounds like Wuhan is already getting back to normal so expect US and Europe will be in the same position a few months from now. It’s just going to get real ugly for a little while. Good luck!
Honestly at this point in time the US is way ahead of other countries in shutting down mass gatherings. I wasn’t expecting it that quick.
Depends of the length of downturn. If things go sour until June / July, you will see layoffs. Right now I can see bonus getting slashed. Next step would be slowing hiring. Then firing low performers. Then cutting down significantly.
