What do you do to manage the stress of a bad boss?

I have an SVP who is so aggressive in every meeting that I’ve started having anxiety attacks whenever I know we have something scheduled. Intense micromanaging, negative, triple A-type personality. This is a woman, a point I only make so we’re not assuming the “aggro bro dude” situation.

Now I’m finding this intense anxiety sitting with me even when I’m off work.

How do you manage your mental health when someone like this is unavoidable?

Has any one went from reinsurance back to insurance? The money is great and all but the W/L balance isn’t. Has anyone else felt the same?

How do you deal with anxiety before a big presentation? I really struggle with this and want to get better.

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?

I need help. I'm dealing with multiple losses in the same week and having a hard time... I took some time off from work but I have no motivation to do anything. I don't want to go back to work and don't care about my work right now. I want to quit but I don't want to make a rash decision but need a long break. It's also not fair to my team that I can't give it my 100%. What can I do?
