I stand corrected! That’s a pretty sweet exclusion if you can stay within the income restrictions.

What do I need to do regarding my Amex before leaving the firm

Need comp advice- strange scenario. I just started part time recruiting at an asset management co in NY. I work remote in NJ. I asked for 110 and they gave $55/hr which equates to 115 (they added 5 more because I’m pt and don’t get benefits- which is fine for now). I’m 31 years old with 7 years experience in the field and should be at a VP level. I don’t get a bonus or a sign on. What should I negotiate comp to be when I go full-time?

Probably would sound silly, but does Gartner provide IT Assets, if yes! What kind, how efficient the systems are in general. I think the current employees who have worked with them ever since WFH started would know better.

Anyone ever have experience negotiating a new offer to include unvested 401k match and stock grants from your current employer? I hate leaving money on the table but there are some good roles out there. I’m not fully vested in my current 401k yet and my stock grants haven’t matured yet either. This would be at a global director level.

Curious what everyone's salary, OTE, and total comp is based on experience.

Assuming my review is good, should I ask for more base, higher OTE for a larger bonus, or more immediately vested equity?

Base: $130k
OTE: $190k
Health & dental: 100% covered
Fully remote
Equity after one year 25%, then accrued monthly for 3 years until 100% vested
YoE in SaaS: 3 years (worked in a different industry for 12 years)

First time investor in the US. Any suggestions on books / blogs to read to get smart. Where do people typically invest given all the client related policies in place for consulting firms?

Interviewed with a remote-first company and was repeatedly asked if I'd be open to relocation (yes) even though they said no one really uses their offices. One person mentioned they prefer new folks to move to be closer to offices/sites. The salary range is fine for where i currently live and would work remote, but way lower than I'd expect if I moved somewhere with MUCH higher cost of living. Would it be possible to negotiate relocation assistance and higher salary if they "prefer" I relocate?

I see a lot of differentiating in post about RIsk Assurance and Risk Advisory. Would someone mind breaking that down by which groups fall into these roles? I am Tech Assurance but also on a rotation where I get exposure to other groups in risk, ie - Internal Audit, GRC and Tech Risk Management. I do like the risk realm, although I would hope to do something more technical in nature and not so much check box. Thanks ahead of time!
