About 15 years ago I read the book "The Skinny" by Dr. Louis Aronne and followed his advice. His research indicated that some foods, especially those with a lot of sugar, trigger rebound hunger. Simply put, they make you hungrier hours later. So if you change your diet to reduce those, it's easier to reduce. Following his advice I was able to change what I was eating, and I lost a lot of weight over time. That combined with walking have helped me keep it off.

Yes but that’s because I wasn’t disciplined with my eating or working out.
Carnivore diet with essential carbs only (no bread, rice, alcohol and juice) Stop going out and cook your own foods with no seed oils except organic extra virgin olive oil or avocado. Grassfed butter or tallow will do also. If you don’t know how to exercise, i would ask and pay a personal trainer. 30 min a day minimal 3 times a week whole body will do also. Dont ever go hard at first or you will just quir. Good luck.
