Hello all, I have an offer from Quantiphi and another famous travel company which is building a technical arm for themselves. Both the companies are offering same compensation. HRs are calling for offer acceptance. I am leaning towards Quantiphi as the culture is well known to me.
But I have to decide soon. Should I accept both the offers and then decline one at the time of joining. I am new to this and find this a little unethical. Can someone help?
I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

Your salary
I am on track. In tech consulting the model is 2-3 years as an analyst, 2 years as senior analyst, 2 years as consultant then you become manager. We don't have senior consultant level.
Ahhh been at the firm for a total of 6 years... Thought you said you've at consultant for 6 years. Yeah you're more or less on track with everyone else.
^only strategy has senior consultants. Everyone else goes analyst > sr analyst (although sr analyst was something new introduced 2 years ago) > consultant > manager. Don't think OP is in strat?
Man that's a long time not make senior... I'm guessing not much if you aren't keeping up with your peers
Yes going To make manager next year
Not in strategy. In business technology consulting.
Glassdoor.
Are you close to manager yet? You should be making the promo soon...
OP, you're running way behind. Maybe you should try another firm.
I would think you should be making more. They only did that salary normalization bullshit this year. So should have gotten better raises previous years... Then again...Sorry to say it but if you've been a consultant for 6 years you probably weren't getting good ratings in old system.
My friends in TC went from A to SA in a year and SA to C in a year, I know quite a few people that made Manager is TC in 4 years
That's great for them..but not everyone is that successful I guess. I know a lot of people at the same track as me. I'm just wondering what my salary range should be.
Where city are you in?
Chicago
I'd say range for consultant is $75-$100k
And You should be making $100-110k
Not sure I'd stick around 6 years and only reach consultant
Experienced hire?
@OP, are you in Tech Consulting or in Accenture Technology?
