Has anyone found a way to automate salary certifications?

We get about 3-5 requests daily to fill out salary certifications for our employees in EMEA.

At the moment, we have to do all of them manually. We open a pdf, then open their employee file and plug away. It's tedious and time-consuming, but the banks I found won't accept an internal salary certification for some reason. They're adamant about using their form. Has anyone come across this?

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Based on some research around Boston and my role in the company, I feel 165k plus 10-15% bonus is fair. Nonetheless, first time going through something like this and asking for thoughts and comments. Anyone here a DOR? I have an opportunity to oversee a therapy department for a transitional care facility with independent, assisted, sub-acute, LTC, and a memory unit on sight. I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. Is there any insight to how many billable hours this would require, and how much time that would actually be? For reference, the firm has a 1900 billable hour requirement and the partner said I would have “no problem” fulfilling that based on the work they have.

I recently received an offer from a ID private firm (1900 billable hours) in the area for about 40k more than my currently salary. I'm the 1st in-house counsel at a tech company (200+). Starting to worry about the way they want me to practice law, but don't know if I'm overreacting. I have a very high-risk tolerance, as I've done mostly PR crises, data breaches, etc.

However, the volume of work and the way they are responding are starting to concern me ethics wise. Yesterday I was given a 200 page contract to review for GDPR. I asked for 3 day turnaround, normally I get at least 24 hours. I have no legal support.

I just got the kindest handwritten thank you note and “just because” gift in the mail last week from one of my attorneys. How should I respond? I don’t work in the office with her, but I was so touched by how thoughtful this was and was wondering if I should respond beyond just thanking her?
