What is the best credit card right now? I have mostly used my Marriott and Southwest for the points, but looking at other cards. Chase Freedom is not that great. Heard good things about Chase Saffire Reserve. Also thinking about non travel cards. And Amex. TIA!!!

Are the benefits worth the yearly fee? CSP might be better for me.

Look into Amazon visa if you are looking for cashback. I am buying so many staples from Amazon and get 5% back. Everything else is 2%. No annual fee and if you travel internationally no fX fee (that was the biggest reason I got it).

Ask in the points bowl

Ok

Go for cash rebate cards. I agree on Amazon suggestion. For grocery purchases, Amex Blue Preferred gives 6% cash back and is worth the annual fee (5% on gas too). For eating out a lot, Capital One Savor gives 5% cash back and could be worth the annual fee.

Junior Associates - How much student loan debt are you and your peers in these days? Making a lot of money relative to the average but feeling poor? Median after-tax income was ~$55,000 in 1981 and was ~$73,000 in 2020. Using a Bank of Canada inflation calculator $55,000 in 1981 is equivalent to ~$165,000 today, which would put someone in the top 10% of earners today. But in 1981 the median family had that extra money. Who can I blame?
