So, the CDC removed the Covid guidelines. I’ve never had Covid. I’m afraid people will come into work not wearing a mask and be inconsiderate… ughhh so distracting and disgusting. I’m also at risk to develop complications. Not sure if I should talk to HR. Taking Concerta in the AM doesn’t give me enough coverage for the whole day. I take it the moment my alarm goes off in the morning at (usually) 6am. My firm typically does insurance defense, but we take plaintiffs cases here and there. Is it typical that work done by associates on contingency cases isn’t counted toward their billable hour requirements unless and until we receive our fee on the case? This is my first experience with this, but it’s hard for me to reach my hours as is, without spending time on non billable cases like this with no assurance that I’ll see billable credit at the end.

I am approaching the Roth IRA income limit, and have a pre-existing Roth IRA that was not converted from a traditional account. Is there a way for me to take advantage of the backdoor Roth loophole while funneling the money into my current Roth? Or, do I have to set up a new account, convert it to Roth, and make all future contributions into that account? I’ve already asked my broker, and they have not been the least bit helpful. Thanks!
