What kind of audit experiences do you need to get into FDD? Do you have to be the lead senior/acting senior of an engagement? Do you have to work on the most complex accounts? What do you have to do to pass a FDD interview? Can you get into FDD by just being average?

I’m interviewing for a GC role at a company that’s never had in-house counsel before. I’ve never been a GC - what questions should I be asking?

I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.

I’ve spent more time digging through TB/GL lines in FDD (over year experience) than I did in audit…. This is glorified audit

So I internally transferred from audit to FDD last year but my old audit team still reaches out with questions (especially because it’s busy season now). What do you y’all do in these scenarios?

What firms have gone fully remote for FDD?

Differences between Big 4 FDD versus mid tier PA firms or HL/A&M/D&P? Big 4 typically gets the largest deals, Mid tier PA and HL/A&M/D&P doesn’t have offshore help, would these statements be accurate?
