Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.
GOT reruns anyone?

I would say exp associate. Senior is hard most I know failed and quit since pressure is too hard and expectation was high.
Definitely associate, I moved from a mid tier to b4 as a senior recently and it’s a nightmare
I guess both, definitely understaffed
Anything manger and below I would think. Easiest would be senior
Damn with these responses, guess I was an anomaly. I dropped from manager to senior and did great. Maybe dropping from senior to associate is what would make it easier.
I mean you were dropped a level which is the best way to go. Glad it worked for you plus you seemed to be in tax which is not that different from firm to firm. Audit is really different hence people have a harder time getting acclimated with it.
Should be pretty easy at all levels senior manager and below at the moment. Desperate for staff
